Job Description

: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Optician/Sales Person to join our team. As an Optician at our practice, you will play a key role in assisting patients with selecting eyewear that meets their visual needs and personal style preferences. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough consultations to understand patients' prescription requirements and lifestyle preferences.
• Guiding patients through frame and lens selection, considering their prescription, face shape, and budget.
• Taking accurate measurements for fitting frames and lenses, ensuring optimal visual clarity and comfort.
• Providing adjustments, repairs, and maintenance of eyewear as needed.
• Educating patients on lens options, coatings, and other optical enhancements.
• Maintaining detailed and organized patient records related to prescriptions and orders.
• Collaborating closely with our optometrists and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

:

• Experience as an Optician or Sales Associate.
• Strong knowledge of eyewear products, lens types, and frame styles.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using optical equipment and tools for measurements and adjustments.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
