You will play a key role in maintaining a positive shopping environment and ensuring that our store meets its sales goals. Duties * Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed. * Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately using POS systems. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively upsell products. * Assist customers in locating items within the grocery store and provide recommendations based on their needs. * Ensure that shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a professional manner. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment. Skills * Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. * Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems. * Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and team members. * Ability to perform basic retail math for accurate transactions and inventory management. * Bilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customer bases. * A proactive approach to upselling products to maximize sales opportunities.
