Requirements

Powell's Furniture is now hiring for full-time, Full & Part-Time Sales Associates. Must be highly driven and self-motivated to achieve individually, while being a supportive team member as you contribute to the overall store success and customer satisfaction. Endless earning potential with up to 7% COMMISSION and hourly pay against commission. Join Fredericksburg's favorite furniture store today.

Qualifications

Include: Must be comfortable following up with customers and leads through the internet, email, phone and in-person Sales experience required (Furniture Sales experience preferred but not required)

• High School / GED or equivalent required
• Positive and engaging personality
• Familiarity with a broad range of furniture styles and products preferred, but not required
• Computer proficiency including email experience required; knowledge and use of MS Office software preferred; Tablet/iPad operation abilities preferred
• Sales experience, preferred but not required
• Must be able to maintain a responsive follow-up schedule
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
• Personable and cheerful demeanor in working with customers
• Capable of working independently, in a fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision
• Must be organized and detail-oriented
• Full-time: 45 hours per week (up to 5 days)
• Part-Time: minimum 25 hours per week
