Job Description: At Umgee, we're a fashion brand that boldly empowers women of all ages by offering an eclectic mix of contemporary and plus size styles. The Umgee Trade Show team travels nationwide to 15 trade shows a year and has an extended reach to provide customers the opportunity to shop at Umgee. We always put our customers first and look to provide a unique Umgee experience through great customer service. As a Temporary Sales Representative, you will serve our buyers by answering general questions, showcasing our products, and coordinating sales. You will also support the Trade Show Department with booth setup and breakdown. Location: DALLAS MARKET CENTER 2100 N STEMMONS FWY DALLAS TX 75207 Date/Time: DALLAS APPAREL * Sunday, June 8th 8:00am - 6:00pm * Monday, June 9th 8:00am - 6:00pm * Tuesday, June 10th 7:45am - 6:00pm * Wednesday, June 11th 7:45am - 6:00pm * Thursday, June 12th 7:45am - 6:00pm * Friday, June 13th 7:45am - 5:30pm *Depending on booth traffic and sudden change in schedule, hours might vary. Responsibilities: * Assist Umgee Trade Show Department with booth set up and breakdown: unpacking and packing products, merchandising, and steaming * Engage with buyers to lead the sale by using fashion terminology and displaying product knowledge of current trends and Umgee styles * Input the order in Umgee Database using ShowPro * Maintain a safe and clean booth environment to present Umgee in the most professional way * Ensure compliance to policies and procedures at Trade shows under direction of Trade Show Manager Key Qualifications: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills to with the team and buyers * Must be extremely organized and have the ability to multi-tasks Additional Requirements (Education, Training and Experience): * High School Diploma * A minimum of 1-2 years in customers service and sales in fashion industry * Able to lift at least 30-pound weight and endure standing for long periods of time Others: * Compensation will be based on experience and interview. * Interviews will be held via Facetime or Zoom call. * This is a temporary/contract position, requiring a W-9 form, which is a self-employed contract. * Based on your performance, you will have a chance to join our traveling team!
