Independent Freight Agent is hiring for a sales role that will be WFH after 2-3 months of on-site training. Base is 40-45k with commission - if you hit your targets, you should be able to make a total of 80k - 120k by the end of your second year *MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH THE IDEA OF MAKING COLD SALES CALLS AND GOING TO IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS ACROSS THE LOS ANGELES AREA Disclaimer: There will be quarterly sales quotas that must be met for the first year of your sales journey No freight experience is needed but experience in sales / cold outreach is a plus * Hours will be 8:30AM - 5:30PM PST *We're a small office. Must be comfortable with the fact that you'd be joining a very small team Perks/benefits/bonus plans below - Permanent remote position after 2-3 months of on-site training at my home office. This also means the candidate should have an ideal WFH setup where the internet is reliable, minimal background noise (hopefully no loud roommates or pets during work hours) and can house a computer with multiple monitors since anybody that's worked in a logistics environment knows that two, ideally 3 monitors will make a huge difference in work efficiency - Hitting your numbers after the first year of sales should put your total compensation at around 60k - 70k which is a huge bump from the base pay. - Continued success at closing should bump up the total compensation closer to six figures by the end of your second year - I will provide the leads for you to contact so you can go straight to calling / visiting Base salary + commission structure: - 10% of gross profit commission on accounts that you close, which will scale with higher monthly numbers. It will be 15% on months where your accounts bring in at least 15k and 20% on months where your accounts bring in 20k or more. ------------------- - As we grow I will hire extra people to handle the operations side of our book so we can continue scaling our business - 90 day waiting period for health insurance.
