Founding Sales Representative -- BigDecks (Design-Focused Outdoor Living) Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - Local Knowledge Preferred)

Compensation

: 8% Commission | Uncapped Earnings | Founding Role

This is a rare opportunity to step into a founding sales role , work directly with the founder, and help shape the client experience from the ground up.

Job Summary

: We're looking for a driven and design-savvy Sales Representative who will manage the entire client journey--from initial lead through project completion. This includes meeting with homeowners, creating estimates, closing deals, and staying actively involved through final delivery. This role requires strong communication, excellent follow-through, and a passion for architecture, design, or construction.

Key Responsibilities

:

  • Respond to inbound leads and schedule consultations with potential clients
  • Meet with clients (on-site or virtually) to understand their goals and present design options
  • Prepare and present proposals based on client needs and budget
  • Follow through to signed contract and project kickoff
  • Use JobTread or CRM to track leads, communication, and project details
  • Coordinate with design and production teams for seamless handoff
  • Stay engaged with clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Confirm scope, schedule, billing, and payment milestones
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients from first call to final walkthrough
Qualifications

:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales (Construction, high-end goods, or design services preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Familiarity with design, materials, or architecture is a plus
  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently
  • Based in Austin or nearby with knowledge of the local luxury/home market
