Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Lead Sales Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will drive our sales efforts, maximize profit margins, and negotiate effectively with vendors. A deep understanding of AV equipment and the ability to build event packages and manage client accounts are essential. Responsibilities: * Lead and mentor a sales team, driving them towards achieving team targets. * Identify new business opportunities in the event production and music touring industries. * Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors. * Negotiate contracts to optimize profitability. * Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AV equipment and event production. * Create customized event packages that meet client needs while ensuring cost efficiency. * Oversee key accounts, ensuring consistent and exceptional service delivery. * Conduct venue walkthroughs to assess AV needs and ensure smooth event advancement. Qualifications: * Proven experience in sales, ideally within the AV, event production, or related industries. * Strong leadership and team management capabilities. * Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on maximizing profit margins. * Deep knowledge of AV equipment, event production, and the music touring industry. * Ability to build accurate, competitive quotes quickly and efficiently. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships. * Strong organizational skills, able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
