Job Description

: We are seeking an experienced Lead Sales Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will drive our sales efforts, maximize profit margins, and negotiate effectively with vendors. A deep understanding of AV equipment and the ability to build event packages and manage client accounts are essential.

Responsibilities

:

• Lead and mentor a sales team, driving them towards achieving team targets.
• Identify new business opportunities in the event production and music touring industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts to optimize profitability.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AV equipment and event production.
• Create customized event packages that meet client needs while ensuring cost efficiency.
• Oversee key accounts, ensuring consistent and exceptional service delivery.
• Conduct venue walkthroughs to assess AV needs and ensure smooth event advancement.

Qualifications

:

• Proven experience in sales, ideally within the AV, event production, or related industries.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on maximizing profit margins.
• Deep knowledge of AV equipment, event production, and the music touring industry.
• Ability to build accurate, competitive quotes quickly and efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster client relationships.
