Job Title: Business Development Representative - Logistics & Trucking Location: Houston, TX Job Type: Full-Time About Us: Yalla Transport LLC is expanding its logistics and trucking operations, and we are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to help us grow. This role is crucial in securing new contracts and building relationships with companies that require freight and container transportation services. Job Responsibilities: * Identify and reach out to potential clients, including shippers, freight forwarders, and logistics companies. * Develop and maintain strong business relationships to generate new contracts and partnerships. * Conduct market research to identify opportunities for expansion and competitive advantages. * Negotiate contract terms and pricing with potential clients. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service execution. * Assist in dispatch operations when needed, ensuring efficient load assignments and driver coordination. * Provide insights on truck maintenance needs to ensure optimal fleet performance. * Ensure compliance with industry regulations and provide guidance on DOT requirements. * Track sales performance and provide regular updates to management. * Attend industry events, networking meetings, and trade shows to promote the company's services. Qualifications: * Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management in the logistics, trucking, or freight industry. * Strong communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients. * Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to expand business operations. * Familiarity with trucking, port operations, and container logistics is a plus. * Dispatch experience, truck maintenance knowledge, and DOT regulations expertise are a big plus. * Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office. * English & Spanish is a plus.
