Account Manager/Customer Service The primary purpose of the Account Manager/Customer Service position is to maintain customer satisfaction by providing problem-solving resources; to ensure that the organization understands and satisfies its customer's requirements, help in developing customer service policies and procedures for MedScript LTC Pharmacy, handle face-to face complex inquiries to provide outstanding customer service. Primary Duties: * Responsible for assistance of transition with new acquisitions * First point of contact with Administrator, DON and nursing staff to resolve any issues * Serve as a liaison a between the pharmacy and the facility * Responsible for weekly/ bi-weekly visits * Upload completed customer service visit forms after each visit * Training and Replenishment of EDK machines as needed * Responsible for education and training of Policy and Procedures and EDK machine * Helps with retrieval of prescriptions * Conduct quality assurance audits (carts and med rooms) prior to survey window and as needed to ensure the facility is compliant with the federal and state requirements as it relates to pharmacy services * Perform medication storage inspections * Inservice facility staff to pharmacy issues when necessary * Assist the nurses with monthly reconciliation of physician order sheets as needed * Assist with obtaining clarification of physician orders communicated by order entry * Point of contact for management companies * Escalate issues to management as appropriate * Train facilities on Framework Link * Assist other departments as needed * Assist the facilities with maintaining compliance with refrigerated medications storage/expirations during visits * Other projects as defined by Customer Service Manager * Able to work rotating shifts and weekends. * Other duties as assigned Education: RN or LPN License required. Experience: Two years Pharmacy experience required. Long term care pharmacy experience preferred.
