Job Title: Sales Executive, Trade Shows and Exhibitions Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Salary: $40,000-$55,000 per annum + uncapped commission (OTE $80k per annum) Plus half-day Fridays! Location: San Antonio, TX JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM We're looking for a motivated and driven Sales Executive to join our #FutureScape USA team! Eljays44 is an established media, publishing, and events business. Founded in the UK in 2011, Eljays44 and its brands have become the go-to channel for all things related to the horticulture and landscaping sector. We are now expanding our flagship brands, FutureScape and Pro Landscaper --the UK's leading B2B event and publication for the landscaping industry--into the U.S. market. This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive to help us launch and grow these events in the U.S. The Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join our Landscaping Division. In this role, you will build strong relationships with new and existing clients to generate revenue through the sale of exhibition stands, sponsorship, and speaking packages. Your main focus will be on new business development --using telesales, emails, video calls, and attending industry events as required to identify and secure new clients. As Eljays44 is growing rapidly and expanding internationally, there may be occasional international travel opportunities. At Eljays44, we pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and ensuring our clients' needs are met. This will be a key focus in your role as you help drive revenue and contribute to the success of our events. Key Responsibilities: Prospecting & Sales * Identify and qualify new business opportunities to meet sales targets. * Sell exhibition stands, sponsorships, and speaking packages to meet client needs. * Understand the business needs of clients to deliver tailored solutions. * Forecast and track sales against targets, both monthly and annually. * Build strong product knowledge across all Eljays44 events and services. * Maintain a high level of activity across various sales channels: telephone, email, video calls, and face-to-face meetings. * Stay updated on industry trends and competitive event landscapes. Administration & CRM Management * Keep CRM records up to date, ensuring all customer information and contract details are accurate. * Work with the marketing and operations teams to ensure package delivery as promised. * Assist with credit control when required. * Represent Eljays44 in a professional manner, maintaining high standards of customer service and professionalism. What 's Required to Succeed as a Sales Executive * Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets. * Strong communication and relationship-building skills. * Customer-focused with the ability to understand client needs and deliver tailored solutions. * Self-motivated and able to work independently. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Basic computer skills in Excel and CRM systems. * Ideal for someone looking to grow into a more senior sales role.
