Job Title: Account Manager Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid) Industry: Manufacturing, Construction, Home Furnishing, Furniture Pay: $55,000 - $60,000 + Quarterly/Annual Bonus Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week). Travel: Required Background Check: Required About the Role: A well-established manufacturer and distributor of kitchen cabinets, appliances, windows, doors, lighting, and plumbing fixtures is looking for an Account Manager to drive sales and manage client relationships in the Northern Virginia territory. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with experience in B2B sales, customer service, and business development. Job Description: The Account Manager will be responsible for growing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position involves significant field sales work, meeting clients four days per week with one remote day for administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and expand existing client accounts while prospecting new business opportunities. * Conduct regular client visits (four days per week in the field, one remote day) to showcase products and services. * Assist Territory Sales Managers in developing sales strategies for the multifamily housing industry. * Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts. * Track sales performance and analyze market trends to optimize strategies. * Utilize CRM software to manage customer relationships and sales activities. * Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity. * Collaborate with marketing, product development, and customer service teams for a seamless client experience. * Travel within the assigned territory to meet clients and attend industry events. Qualifications: * Experience: 1-4 years of sales experience (B2B preferred). * Industry Background: Experience in manufacturing, construction, home furnishing, or furniture is a plus. * Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Outlook). Experience with CRM software is preferred. * Soft Skills: Strong customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. * Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (Associate's degree minimum required). * Additional Requirement: Must be able to read a tape measure.
