Have you always wanted to start your career in the insurance industry but didn't know where to start? The Sales Agent Trainee position is your first step toward becoming a licensed professional GEICO insurance agent! We are a local GEICO office in Palmetto Bay, looking for the next professional sales agent! We are only hiring highly motivated individuals with the drive to get it done and a passion for sales. Pending a 90 day review, candidates will become eligible to continue their career path and become a Licensed Sales Agent with GEICO. This includes the opportunity for a pay raise, and ability to earn commissions! An average level 1 Agent makes about $60,000 per year but has the opportunity to make $100,000 or more! Our office boasts a world-class training program that provides the tools for any motivated agent to succeed. One-on-one weekly coaching is provided during the initial training period, but will continue on a regular basis even after you have graduated to a Sales Agent Level 1. Primary Job Responsibilities: * Conducting outgoing WARM (not cold) calls to prospects * Work with a Lead Management System * Follow given sales and service talk paths to maximize interactions * Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales goals Requirements: * Minimum two years of sales experience * High School Diploma or Equivalent * Desire to sell and grow * Bilingual (Spanish) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $33,000.00 - $34,000.00 per year Benefits: * Health insurance Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities Application Question(s): * Can you work 10- 7pm shift and Saturday 10-6pm Experience: * Sales Experience: 1 year (Preferred) Language: * Spanish (Required) Shift availability: * Night Shift (Preferred) * Day Shift (Preferred) Work Location: In person
