Job Summary The Business Development Center Representative plays a crucial role in enhancing customer engagement and driving sales growth within our dealership. This position involves utilizing exceptional customer service skills to connect with potential clients, manage leads, and promote our automotive offerings. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in upselling, inventory control, and possess a strong understanding of automotive sales processes. Duties * Engage with customers through various channels including phone calls, emails, and online inquiries to provide information about products and services. * Utilize effective phone etiquette to create a positive first impression and build rapport with potential clients. * Conduct cold calling efforts to generate new leads and follow up on existing inquiries. * Assist in managing inventory control by keeping track of available vehicles and ensuring accurate information is communicated to customers. * Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for upselling additional products or services that enhance the customer experience. * Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow-up actions within the dealership's software systems. * Support outside sales efforts by providing necessary information and resources to the sales team as needed. * Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques. Requirements * Proven experience in customer service, preferably within an automotive dealership environment. * Strong skills in upselling techniques and sales management practices. * Familiarity with inventory control processes related to automotive sales is a plus. * Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all times. * Experience with cold calling strategies and lead generation techniques. * Proficiency in using dealership software systems for managing customer information and sales data. * Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to achieve individual targets. * A passion for the automotive industry and a desire to help customers find the right solutions for their needs.
