DISTRICT SALES MANAGER BiRite Foodservice Distributors is a third generation, family-owned company that offers you a Complete Foodservice Solution. The District Sales Manager position is responsible for managing, maintaining existing accounts and establishing new accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area. The District Sales Manager will report to the VP of Sales. Major Duties and Responsibilities: * Manages and maintains relationships with existing and new customers. * Thorough knowledge of territory, market, and clients. * Manages sales representatives. * Motivates sales representatives to reach target company goals (quarterly and annually). * Keeps internal prospects lists active for each direct report. * Adjusts content of sales proposals, presentations, and other relevant materials to suit specific customers and Sales Representative's needs. * Assists sales representatives with margin management, penetration, and efficiencies. * Oversees Accounts Receivables for all sales representatives and their accounts. Minimum Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. * 5+ years of sales and management experience preferably within the Foodservice industry. * Excellent presentation and communication skills required. * Excellent management and leadership skills. * Demonstrated ability to strive in a team-oriented environment. * Experience in managing a team effectively (up to 12 team members). * High degree of confidence and closing skills with prospects. * Highly organized and strong attention to detail is a must. * Excellent problem-solving skills and numeracy skills. * Ability to think quickly and adapt to customer related concerns. * Ability to multitask and complete work while traveling, * Driven, dynamic, flexible, and excellent time management skills. * Applicants must reside within a reasonable commuting distance to the district they are applying to, or be willing to relocate. This is necessary to meet the operational needs of the position. Physical Requirements: * Driving: The District Sales Manager is required to travel to meet clients, they may spend a significant amount of time driving in the Bay Area's busy and congested roads, which can be physically demanding. * Standing: The District Sales Manager may spend long hours standing or walking around. * Carrying and Lifting: The District Sales Manager may need to move or lift up to 50lbs, carry samples, or other materials to meetings with customers or events. * Repetitive Motions: The District Sales Manager may spend a significant amount of time typing emails, sending text messages, or making phone calls, which can be physically demanding on their hands, wrists, and arms. Working Conditions: * This is a customer-facing role - ensure great customer service from warehouse to front door. * Must be able to drive in adverse weather conditions safely. * Ability to travel within and outside of designated territory.
