As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Sales/Estimator to join our team and play a key role in driving sales, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring a seamless client experience. Position Summary: The Sales/Estimator is responsible for generating new business, providing accurate project estimates, and maintaining client relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of construction materials, pricing, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction sales, estimating, or project management , with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Client Relations: * Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold outreach. * Conduct on-site consultations to assess customer needs, take measurements, and discuss project details. * Build strong client relationships by providing expert guidance, answering questions, and offering solutions tailored to their budget and vision. * Present proposals, close sales, and follow up with clients throughout the process to ensure satisfaction. Estimating & Proposal Development: * Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for kitchen, bath, and other remodeling/construction projects. * Source pricing for materials, labor, and subcontractor costs to develop competitive bids. * Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents. * Ensure estimates align with company pricing guidelines and profitability goals. * Work closely with the project management team to transition estimates into active projects. Administrative & Reporting: * Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and client communications. * Track sales progress and provide regular updates to management. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing changes, and new materials or techniques. Qualifications: * Proven experience in sales and/or estimating within the construction/remodeling. * Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor costs. * Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. * Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings. * Proficiency in estimating software, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite. * Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales goals. * Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. * Valid driver's license and ability to travel to client sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in kitchen and bath remodeling sales and estimating. * Knowledge of cabinetry, countertops, and other interior materials. * Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, 2020 Design, or similar).
