Forward Edge is seeking to be increasingly representative of the communities we serve. As a Sales Representative, you'll play a crucial role in driving our company's growth and success. You'll be the face of Forward Edge, building strong relationships with prospective and existing customers, and showcasing the unique value of the products and services we offer. Your primary responsibility will be prospecting, sales presentations, building relationships, and exceeding sales targets. Responsibilities * Promote and sell Forward Edge's comprehensive technology solutions, including hardware, software, and services, customized for educational institutions. * Managed Services * Networking & Engineering Professional Services * Structured Cabling Services & Support * Access Control & Video Surveillance Systems * On-Site Staff Support and Help Desk Services * Curriculum & Integration Support Services * Cybersecurity Services with Xpel * Develop and manage new accounts while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at all levels (C-Level, IT, Purchasing). * Cultivate a strong professional presence within the K-12 and higher education sectors. * Prepare and present detailed proposals that directly address customer needs, negotiating agreements that benefit both the customer and Forward Edge. * Identify and pursue new customer opportunities. * Expand product and service offerings to meet evolving customer demands. * Drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities. * Travel throughout the assigned territory to engage with current and prospective customers. * Proactively address and resolve customer challenges to ensure a smooth sales process. * Essential Qualities: Goal-driven, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and competitive spirit. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree or equivalent education or experience in a relevant field. * 1 to 3 years of experience selling products or solutions to customers. * Candidates with experience in Technology and/or Education Industries are highly preferred. * A consultative selling approach with a demonstrated ability to analyze customer needs and develop tailored proposals that exceed expectations and drive revenue growth. * Strong prospecting, presentation, and closing skills, coupled with a proactive approach to identifying and securing new business opportunities - the ability to hunt. * Exceptional networking and communication skills, enabling the development of rapport and trust with decision-makers at all levels. * The ability to strategically position Forward Edge's products and services to highlight their competitive advantages and address unique customer challenges. * Proven leadership qualities, with the presence and authority to effectively represent Forward Edge and influence people at all levels. * A commitment to honesty, integrity, enthusiasm, and persistence in all professional endeavors.
