Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and helping customers find the products they need. You will engage with customers, demonstrate products, and contribute to a positive shopping experience while achieving sales goals. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits effectively. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and drive sales. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, including cash register operations and cash handling. * Maintain an organized and clean sales floor to create an inviting shopping environment. * Supervise junior staff members as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. * Handle customer inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary. * Utilize retail math skills for inventory management and sales tracking purposes. Skills * Proven experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred. * Strong ability to perform product demos and effectively communicate product knowledge. * Proficiency in operating POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately. * Excellent upselling skills with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction. * Ability to supervise others while fostering a collaborative team environment. * Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally. * Basic understanding of retail math for effective inventory management and reporting. * Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor that encourages customer engagement.
