Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. * Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance customer satisfaction. * Utilize effective communication skills to engage with customers and build rapport. * Process transactions accurately using the cash register and point-of-sale (POS) systems. * Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed attractively. * Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and conducting regular stock checks. * Implement upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction. * Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Requirements * Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and calculating totals accurately. * Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and retail math concepts is advantageous. * Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. * A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products to enhance customer experience. * Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as stocking shelves.
