Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers with their shopping needs. Your primary focus will be to create a positive shopping experience through effective communication and product knowledge. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. * Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. * Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales. * Maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor and assist with inventory management. * Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. * Supervise junior staff as needed, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures. * Maintain a clean and inviting store environment, ensuring all merchandise is displayed effectively. * Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or concerns. Experience * Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required. * Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for transaction processing. * Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance customer interactions. * Experience in supervising or training staff is a plus, as well as conducting product demos.
