Full description of the position
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving business growth through, identifying new business opportunities, and building awareness of Alliance IT in Sarasota / Manatee county and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with excellent communication skills who is excited by the opportunity to build and maintain industry relationships. This is a full-time role that offers a 50k base salary with an uncapped commission structure. Responsibilities: * Generate and qualify leads through research, networking, and outbound prospecting. * Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients, driving new business opportunities through consistent follow-up and engagement. * Communicate with leads and customers to identify and understand their product or service needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs. * Build and maintain a network of referral sources from which to identify new sales leads. * Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and any customer or vendor relationship problems in ConnectWise CRM. * Maintain relationships with new clients through ongoing communication and check-ins * Conduct site visits to ensure quality and customer satisfaction. Requirements: * Bachelors degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or related field, preferred. * Minimum 2 - 3 years of outside B2B sales experience. * Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field. * Strong customer service skills with a focus on building client relationships. * Excellent sales and negotiation skills. * Experience in technology sales is a plus. * Strong time management and prioritization skills. * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
