Job Description Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: NYC Health+ Hospitals AP Coordinator Lead is responsible for the timely and accurately invoice processing for payment. * General tasks and responsibilities will include: * Supervise a team of 3-5 individuals responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices for payment. * Assist in implementation of new methods to standardize the Accounts Payable process * Manage the approval queue for invoices over $5K for accuracy * Manage all disbursements and maintain the corporate cash cap * Set measurable departmental goals and allocate staff on the basis of workload for achieving timely processing of invoices for payment * Adhere to the departmental goals for achieving set goal for timely processing of invoices * Identify gaps in the invoice process and develop solutions to resolve operational issues to improve timeliness of invoice posting for payment * Manage the reporting of invoice Match Exception for timely resolution * Serve as liaison between Supply Chain and AP operations to trouble shoot and prioritize PO inquiries/issues and supplier related payment issues for resolution * Implement Accounts Payable procedures to identify opportunities for improving the quality and effectiveness of Accounts Payable operations * Coordinate with Corporate offices and facility management to identify gaps and develop a game plan for resolution Minimum Qualifications 1.Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling; and one (1) year of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment; or 2.Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines listed in "1" above; and two(2)years of full-time experience in medically- oriented health care and medical support systems environment; or 3.A satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience, in which each year of relevant training and/or experience can be substituted for 30 semester credits from an accredited college or university. However, all applicants must at least have a Bachelor's degree or its educational equivalent.
