Big Al's Gun & Pawn is looking for another team member to add to our Range, Gun, and Pawn Shop! Sales associates create a safe and secure environment while educating customers and fulfilling their needs. Our sales associates work with a full selection of firearms, firearms accessories, and ammunition. Employees will work successfully in all departments of the store (handguns, long guns, etc.) also work as Range Safety Officers supervising our indoor shooting range, as well as assist with maintenance of indoor shooting range. The successful candidate: * Has Gun Shop and/or Pawn Shop experience * Has firearm/firearm regulation knowledge * Takes pride in their work * Has a strong sense of integrity and ambition * Enjoys helping people and building relationships * Is thorough and attentive to small details Candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, and be able to maintain a safe and secure working environment at all times while maintaining a friendly disposition. Pawn shop experience is a plus! Requirements: - High school graduate or equivalent - Pawn shop or gun shop/range experience (preferred) - Must be able to accomplish small physical tasks such as lifting ammo cases and other regular shipments - Criminal background check(MUST have clean background) - Bilingual (preferred) - Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. - Must be able to lift in excess of 50lbs. - U.S. Citizen or eligibility to work in United States Job Type: Full-time Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour Shift: * Day shift Application Question(s): * Can you work weekends? * Do you have any firearm experience?
