Job Overview We are seeking a motivated, influential, and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by sourcing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate in this space isn't just a talker--they're a relationship builder, a problem-solver, and someone who understands the needs of fleet managers, owner-operators, and businesses that rely on trucks and trailers daily. Duties * Identify and generate new business opportunities with trucking companies, fleet operators, construction firms, and local businesses * Promote Alpha Fleet Services' mobile diesel and trailer repair solutions to prospective clients * Conduct cold calls, site visits, and online outreach to build your sales pipeline * Schedule meetings, present service benefits, and close new customer accounts * Maintain regular follow-up with leads and clients to build long-term relationships * Collaborate with the service team to ensure smooth onboarding and exceptional customer experience * Use CRM tools to track sales activity, manage prospects, and report on progress * Attend networking events or trade shows (as needed) to expand local business connections * Stay informed about industry trends and customer needs to tailor your sales approach * Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance targets A Day in the Life (What to Expect): * Start the morning by checking your CRM dashboard for follow-ups and hot leads * Reach out to 10-15 new businesses via on-site visits, calls, emails, or LinkedIn messaging * Visit a job site or trucking yard to introduce our mobile repair services face-to-face * Grab lunch and check in with a current client to see if they need additional support * Attend a local business networking event, drop by a construction yard, or follow up on leads from Facebook or industry forums * End the day by updating your CRM, prepping quotes, and setting tomorrow's game plan Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, outgoing, and goal-oriented individual with a passion for helping businesses solve real-world problems. You're confident speaking to business owners, fleet managers, and operators in industries like trucking, construction, and delivery. You don't need a background in diesel mechanics--but you should be eager to learn, comfortable explaining service-based solutions, and capable of building trust through clear, professional communication.
