Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Counter Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while assisting with their needs. You will play a vital role in maintaining stock levels, processing transactions, and promoting our products effectively within a retail environment. Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. * Process sales transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system. * Maintain an organized and well-stocked counter area, ensuring all products are displayed attractively. * Engage in product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits. * Handle cash transactions responsibly and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. * Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing and discounts effectively. * Supervise stock levels, placing orders as necessary to replenish inventory. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly. * Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow and positive shopping experience for customers. Experience * Previous experience in a retail or grocery store environment is preferred. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. * Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using POS systems is advantageous. * Ability to demonstrate products confidently and engage customers in conversation about their needs. * Experience supervising staff or training new employees is a plus but not required.
