Job Overview TPC Roofing is seeking an Experienced Roofing GSM to oversee recruiting, training and management of field sales reps throughout the entire state. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in sales management, with proven experience in business development and account management. This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to recruit and train, and a passion for achieving sales targets. The General Sales Manager will be responsible for developing strategies to enhance direct and retail sales while fostering strong relationships with clients. Responsibilities * Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and collective sales goals. * Develop and implement effective sales strategies that align with company objectives. * Manage key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention. * Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities. * Oversee direct sales efforts, including outside sales initiatives, to expand market presence. * Provide training and support to team members on best practices in technical sales and customer engagement. * Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials that enhance product visibility. * Monitor performance metrics and prepare regular reports on sales activities for senior management. * Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and professional growth. Experience * Proven experience in sales management or a similar role, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets. * Strong skills in business development, recruiting, and training in the roofing space. * Ability to analyze data effectively to inform decision-making processes. * Experience in direct sales, retail sales, or technical sales is highly desirable. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members alike. * A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to changing market conditions.
