Full description of the position
Job Role The Director - Key Account Management will be responsible for driving strategic growth, ensuring client satisfaction, and strengthening relationships with key accounts in the EdTech services business. The role focuses on building long-term partnerships, ensuring high customer retention, and unlocking new opportunities for account expansion. Roles and Responsibilities * Client Relationship Management * Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring excellent client experience and satisfaction. * Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders. * Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation * Develop and execute account strategies to drive revenue growth and meet business targets. * Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand account portfolios. * Business Insights & Account Planning * Understand clients' business objectives and challenges to position Hurix Digital's offerings as solutions. * Conduct regular account reviews and create account development roadmaps. * Project Delivery Oversight * Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure projects are executed on time and exceed client expectations. * Resolve escalations effectively and proactively identify risks to delivery. * Data-Driven Decision-Making * Track account performance metrics and prepare detailed reports for leadership. * Leverage data to identify patterns, forecast trends, and recommend improvements. * Team Leadership * Mentor and guide a team of account managers or executives, fostering a high-performance culture. * Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team effectiveness. Skills & Qualifications Expected * Experience and Domain Expertise * 10-15 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Business Development, preferably in the EdTech or technology services domain. * Proven success in managing large accounts, building relationships with C-suite executives, and driving revenue growth. * Strategic Thinking * Ability to develop and implement long-term account strategies tailored to client needs. * Strong understanding of EdTech industry trends and challenges. * Communication and Negotiation Skills * Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively. * Adept at presenting insights, proposals, and reports to senior stakeholders. * Project and People Management * Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects with a client-first approach. * Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and motivate teams. * Technical and Analytical Skills * Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce or Zoho. * Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and create actionable insights. * Educational Background * A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
