Overview Currently recruiting "LEADERS" for a Major Retailer located in Pearland, Texas. This is a full-time position available immediately. Our client is seeking a dedicated and energetic trainers to join their team. These roles are essential in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, providing excellent customer service, and leading a team in a fun and dynamic environment. Sales Floor Academy Trainer The Sales Floor Academy Trainer is responsible for leading and overseeing the grocery, consumables, and fresh departments, ensuring high standards in inventory management, sales, and customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and the ability to drive results through effective team management. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management * Supervise, train, and mentor associates in the food and consumables departments. * Provide direction to ensure team members complete daily tasks efficiently. * Foster a positive and productive work environment. Customer Service * Ensure customers receive excellent service by maintaining well-stocked, clean, and organized sections. * Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly. * Monitor product quality and freshness to enhance the customer experience. Operations & Merchandising * Oversee the stocking, rotation, and presentation of grocery, fresh, and consumable items. * Execute merchandising plans and ensure compliance with company standards. * Ensure shelves are fully stocked and displays are visually appealing. Inventory & Sales Management * Monitor sales trends and adjust inventory levels accordingly. * Reduce waste and shrink by ensuring proper handling and rotation of perishable items. * Assist in managing stock levels, ordering, and replenishment. Compliance & Safety * Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety guidelines. * Monitor and enforce company policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Experience in retail, grocery, or food service is preferred. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. Basic knowledge of inventory management and merchandising. Must be able to lift, carry, and move stock as needed.
