Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. * Operate the POS system and cash register efficiently for transactions. * Handle cash and process payments accurately while ensuring compliance with cash handling procedures. * Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits to customers. * Maintain stock levels by organizing shelves, restocking merchandise, and ensuring displays are visually appealing. * Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products and services. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience. * Assist in managing inventory by tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies. Skills * Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. * Proficient in operating POS systems and cash registers. * Experience in cash handling with attention to detail. * Ability to perform product demos effectively to engage customers. * Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. * Previous experience in grocery store or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory. * Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. * Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment.
