The Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key clients, acting as the liaison between Sales and Operations, ensuring exceptional TAB Services. As an Account Manager, you will work closely with clients to understand any potential needs, coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and provide solutions for long-term client satisfaction. Your main objective is to generate new business opportunities and grow existing accounts by providing the world-class service and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: * Client Management: * Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients to ensure a strong working relationship. * Maintain regular communication through phone calls, email and in-person visits. * Provide expert advice to clients regarding TAB Services, for optimal system efficiency, performance and comfort. * Manage existing client accounts by providing regular updates, addressing any concerns and offering additional Palmetto Services * Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders * Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and participate in proposal submission. * CRM: Document communication and sales/account management strategies within CRM Database * Project Evaluation: Review project documents, including blueprints, specifications, and addendums, to develop a clear understanding of project scope and requirements. * Cost Estimation: Based on project plans, calculate material, labor, equipment, and other associated costs to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates. * Bid Preparation: Develop and submit timely, competitive, and profitable bids and proposals to potential clients. * Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to strategize bid opportunities and present estimates and proposals to clients. * Risk Assessment: Identify and assess potential risks and opportunities associated with each project to ensure accurate pricing. * Value Engineering: Recommend cost-effective alternatives that meet the project's specifications and client requirements. * Data Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of all estimates, bids, and related documents for future reference and analysis. * Market Analysis: Stay informed on market conditions, industry trends, and competitor activities to provide insights that can improve bid success rates. * Client Interaction: Engage with clients to clarify project requirements, answer questions, and provide post-bid follow-up. * Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the estimating process. * Software Proficiency: Utilize estimating software and tools effectively to streamline the estimation process. * Site Visits: Visit customer sites to review and close bids as needed. Pay Range: $70k-$85k based on experience and qualifications, with 30% quarterly incentive bonus program Education and Experience: * Sales & client management experience, preferably within technical fields such as HVAC, engineering or construction * Two-year college degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. * Preference for previous experience in estimating, within the construction, HVAC, or mechanical systems industry. Qualifications: * Strong analytical and mathematical skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with clients and internal teams * Proven ability to manage multiple projects/client relationships simultaneously * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and estimating software * Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy * Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents * Strong negotiation skills * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment * Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team * Punctuality and readiness to work * Valid Driver's license and willingness to travel * Basic understanding of Air Systems/Water Systems and balancing procedures * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening * HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping experience (a plus) Physical Demands/Working Conditions: This position may require occasional lifting or carrying 20 to 50 pounds. The role primarily involves sitting for extended periods while performing office-based tasks but may also include visits to job sites or client meetings. Employees must be able to use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls and be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand as required throughout the workday.
