Sales and Catering Coordinator * Be enthusiastic, self-started, organized, professional and detailed oriented * Assist on any clerical work, typing, filing, entering information in Opera, distributing documents to all pertinent departments and clients * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, professional oriented manner * Answer telephones, direct calls, take messages and deliver them in a timely manner * Assist DOS with completing group resumes, meal vouchers, inputting rooming list on Opera * Prepare and distribute all group resumes for the week after the DOS approves them * File documents and create files as needed * Maintain professional appearance at all times * Conduct personal behavior in mature professional manner when representing the hotel Job Summary Under the direction of DOS, the Sales and Catering Coordinator will provide support for the Sales and Catering Department. Exhibit sound decision making skills, productivity and professionalism at all times. Presents a high standard of integrity, service and hospitality at all times to promote the MIA hotel culture to customer and co-workers.
