We're searching for a Vendor Account Manager to join our team and help us build strong partnerships with suppliers in the recycling and manufacturing industry. Your role will be essential to establishing and maintaining relationships with key vendors, ensuring seamless communication, and maximizing our business's potential. As a startup, we're focused on finding team members who are ready to learn and grow with us. Experience is a bonus but not required; we're more interested in someone who's adaptable, excited to contribute, and eager to eventually take ownership of our vendor management process. Responsibilities: * Build and maintain relationships with key vendors and suppliers * Respond to inbound vendor inquiries and requests in a timely manner * Proactively identify and reach out to potential new suppliers that align with our needs * Negotiate terms and contracts with vendors to secure favorable agreements * Collaborate with our operations and sales teams to ensure inventory and supply chain efficiency * Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns Qualifications: * Experience in B2B account management, procurement, or logistics is a plus * Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with vendors * Organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently * Familiarity with CRM or vendor management systems is helpful but not required * Excitement to be part of a startup and grow with the team Work Hours: * Full-time, in-office position based in Austin, TX Compensation: * $40,000 base salary + commission Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * Monday to Friday Supplemental Pay: * Bonus opportunities * Commission pay * Performance bonus * Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
