About us The Beauty Bar at Geist is an AVEDA salon and spa in Indianapolis, IN. We are located off of Geist Reservoir. We are professional, fun and fast-paced. Position: Front Desk Associate *About Us: * The Beauty Bar at Geist is an upscale haven for beauty and wellness enthusiasts. We are committed to providing a world-class experience to our clients and promoting eco-friendly, sustainable beauty practices. As a Front Desk Associate, you will play a pivotal role in creating an exceptional atmosphere for our clients. Must be 21 years of age Need to have the ability to work nights and Saturday *Key Responsibilities: 1. *Warm and Friendly Reception: * Greet clients with a welcoming smile and create a positive first impression. 2. *Appointment Scheduling: * Efficiently manage client appointments, ensuring optimal scheduling and customer satisfaction. 3. *Phone and Email Communication: * Handle phone calls and emails professionally, addressing inquiries and assisting clients with their requests. 4. *Payment Processing: * Accurately handle cash, credit card transactions, and maintain proper records of payments. 5. *Client Engagement: * Foster lasting relationships with clients by providing exceptional service and assistance. 6. *Product Knowledge: * Educate clients about our Aveda products and retail offerings. 7. *Maintain Tidiness: * Ensure the salon is clean, organized, and stocked with marketing materials. 8. *Support Salon Operations: * Assist in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth salon operations. 9. *Comfortability with Technology: * This is a technology-forward position, with almost all of our booking and communications being software programs. Proficiency with computer work is a must. 10. *Multi-Tasking, Flexibility, Adaptability: * Salons can be very fast- paced environments. With multiple moving parts, being able to multi-task efficiently is imperative.
