AUTOMATION APPLICATIONS ENGINEER - Indianapolis, IN Automation Applications Engineer is responsible for analyzing customer requirements and developing automated systems to meet the customer's engineering needs RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Applications Engineer is an integral member of the Controls Sales team, supporting Automation and Controls Engineers in providing technical solutions for our customers
• Develop Automation & Controls solutions for a wide range of industries including Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverage, Material handling, and Various Manufacturing applications
• Work with in-house sales and clients to ensure all applications meet customer requirements while providing cost-competitive solutions
• Review and analyze clients Requests, RFQ's Processes, Specifications, and Standards
• Create and file proposal documents such as quotes, BOM's, layouts, schedules, and write-ups that fully describe and define the automation solution
• Compile, review, and process projects technical information and specifications
• Interact with external consultants, systems integrators, and suppliers
• Coordinate project handover with Operations Department, assisting with after-sales activities
• Travel to clients facilities for meetings, walks-throughs, and to review existing equipment REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering highly desired
• Min 5 years of experience and knowledge developing Automation& Robotic Systems for Manufacturing
• Understanding of controls & automation equipment including PLC's, HMI's, Electrical/Wire Diagrams/Schematics, and Communication Systems for Manufacturing
• Advanced proficiency in MSOffice (Excel and MS Word). Knowledge of MS Project is highly desired
• Highly analytical and have strong Technical Skills, desire to learn new skills
• Organized and methodical with the ability to learn quickly and adapt easily to change
• Solid verbal skills, ability to interact and communicate effectively with personnel from all levels of the organization Job Type: Full-time Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
