SONS Ford is seeking a Sales Consultant/Automotive Sales Associate to join our dynamic sales and internet department. While automotive sales experience is beneficial, we welcome candidates with retail or other sales backgrounds. * What We Offer: * Medical and Dental Insurance * 401(k) Retirement Plan * Paid Vacation * A supportive, family-run business environment committed to fairness and safety * Responsibilities: * Guide customers through a comprehensive buying process using established selling steps, policies, and procedures. * Demonstrate deep product knowledge, particularly around vehicle features. * Showcase vehicle operations in the showroom and during test drives. * Ensure a smooth vehicle delivery process, explaining operating features, warranties, and paperwork to customers. * Maintain an effective owner follow-up system to foster repeat and referral business, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. * Implement a prospecting system, contacting potential customers via calls and emails to schedule appointments and close deals. * Provide regular updates to the Sales Manager on objectives, planned activities, and performance analyses. * Qualifications: * Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required. * Sales background preferred. * Knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations. * Excellent communication, organizational, and negotiation skills. * Self-motivated and goal-oriented, thriving in a team environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. * Professional appearance and strong work ethic.
