The Role: As a Tech Support Sales Representative , you will serve as the technical liaison between our customers and our sales and production teams. You will support clients by providing pre- and post-sale technical guidance, troubleshooting automation systems, and ensuring the successful integration of our products into smart home and commercial environments. Key Responsibilities: * Serve as the primary technical resource for customers and internal sales staff regarding Somfy, Lutron, Rollease and other motorized shading systems. * Provide expert-level troubleshooting support via phone, email, and on-site (as needed). * Assist the sales team in identifying client needs and proposing customized solutions. * Read and interpret wiring diagrams, architectural drawings, and integration schematics. * Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and webinars for clients and team members as needed. * Collaborate with engineering and production departments to ensure custom orders are technically accurate. * Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions. * Stay up to date with product developments, industry trends, and new technologies. Requirements: * 2+ years of experience with Somfy and/or Lutron motorization systems (programming, installation, or technical support). * Shade installation experience is a plus. * Strong understanding of low-voltage wiring, home automation protocols (RTS-motors, ZIGBEE, etc.). * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users. * Experience in technical sales or customer-facing support role, ideally in AV, smart home, or window treatment industries. * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; CRM experience is a plus. * Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. * Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. * Associate's degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). * Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed.
