American Roofing & Metal Co., Inc. is a family-owned and operated full-service roofing company. We are looking to fill the following position for our Cincinnati location: New Sales Business Development. * Roles & Responsibilities * Identify a list of prospective new clients to work on initially. * Introduce the company and yourself to those prospective clients. * Determine the level of "fit" between American Roofing and each prospective client * If appropriate, seek the opportunity to work with prospective clients on a few projects so that they can experience first-hand what working with American Roofing offers them. * Continue to draw them in until we are their preferred roofing contractor. * Continually seek prospective new clients to develop. * Support & Training * The company's estimators and sales administration personnel will support the successful candidate. * The successful candidate will be trained and mentored by the Cincinnati Team. Requirements for the position * A proven track record of success in a complex sales process. * Business to Business sales background. * A strategic thinker who can quickly distill their strategic thinking into actionable tactics they can implement in the market to gain new business. * Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate with a wide range of people, from roofing laborers to CEOs of our customers' companies. * Strong interpersonal skills * Excellent communicator in person, in writing, and over the phone. * Values a high level of integrity and ethics. * Can convey their trustworthiness to prospective customers quickly. * Capable of taking the initiative on what activities you will work on each day, week, and month within the company's boundaries. * Is comfortable working with a laptop and mobile devices. * Has a good working knowledge of Excel and CRM systems. * Is team-spirited and can work alone. * Likes learning new things and strives to grow professionally each year.
