Job Summary

We are are a locally owned toy store in the galleria area of Houston. We have been open in this location for over 30 years! We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate who will provide exceptional customer service to customers shopping for kids ages 0 through teen.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS).
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, helping customers make informed purchasing decisions.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales volume.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.

Requirements

• Strong customer service skills with a passion for helping others.
• Proficiency in retail math for accurate transaction handling.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively.
• Ability to sell products by understanding customer needs and providing tailored recommendations. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
