We are looking for an enthusiastic and strategic Director of Sales to lead our commission-based sales team to new heights. Position Overview: As the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our national sales team of passionate sales representatives. You will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth through trade shows, enhancing our brand presence, and ensuring that our team meets and exceeds their targets. This role requires a savvy leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, embraces weekend travel, and is motivated to achieve high performance. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, mentor, and manage a commission-based sales team, ensuring effective goal setting and performance monitoring for each sales representative. - Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth across multiple regions. - Spearhead our presence at major trade shows, showcasing our products and generating new business leads. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business goals. - Analyze sales performance data to refine strategies and identify opportunities for improvement. - Cultivate strong relationships with customers, partners, and industry influencers to enhance brand loyalty and market reach. Qualifications: - Proven experience managing a commission-based sales team with a track record of exceeding sales targets. - Experience managing at least 5 sales representatives, fostering a high-performance culture. - Availability for extensive travel, including weekends, to attend trade shows and meetings. - Strong familiarity with trade show operations and strategies for maximizing exposure and lead generation. - Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a national sales team. Compensation: We offer an attractive compensation package, including a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 - $100,000, plus a lucrative commission structure with the potential to earn an additional $250,000+ on target earnings.
