We are seeking a sales and marketing coordinator to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will have great communication skills and superior attention to details. Founded in 1897, Florists' Review Media Group is the premier media company in the international floral industry. We produce monthly award-winning print magazines for florists in the US, FloristsReview.com and a quarterly publication in the United Kingdom, Flora-magazine.com for professionals and hobbyists. We also publish books and develop products for the wholesale floral industry. We have a small team of talented professionals who work remotely around the world. We are looking for a dynamic individual who has a passion for flowers to join our team as our Sales and Marketing Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for growth with a historic media brand for an individual with drive and great communication skills. International travel may be offered to cover flower shows and tours. The ideal candidate for this position is eager to learn, assertive, self- disciplined, detail-oriented and deadline-driven. While our talented team is scattered across the globe for this position candidates must live in the Sarasota, FL area. This position is part-time to full time to start 15-20 hours a week, flexible hours Monday-Friday. Some hours in-person and some remote. Great opportunity for advancement. Bonuses based on performance are paid monthly. The primary function of this position is to assist in creating our weekly newsletters and posting on our website and provide sales and marketing assistance for the President of the company. Our office is currently located in downtown Sarasota. Qualifications: * Must have a minimum of two years of experience in sales. * Must be able to meet deadlines!!! * Have a working knowledge of Mailchimp * Knowledge of Wordpress * Must possess good analytical and EXCELLENT communications skills. * Prior experience in the floral industry would be fantastic! * MUST live in Sarasota area Send a cover letter letting us know why you think this would be a great opportunity for you.
