Full description of the position
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing and managing relationships with key clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of technology sales, enabling them to effectively promote our products and services in a competitive market. You will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and enhancing customer satisfaction through exceptional account management. - Position will be full-time, and work hours are Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. - Lunch will be one hour each day - This will be a salaried position, and paychecks will be issued every two weeks. - Account managers are expected to email and call prospects in order to build a book of business. All emails and calls will be tracked through our CRM. You are expected to work hard to build a book of business with end users in a variety of markets, including retail, healthcare, MTL, and dining/QSR. - Base pay rate will be $40,000 per year plus health benefits for employee (PLS will cover 100% of Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance premium, 100% of Delta premium, and 100% vision). - PLS will offer a 401K plan with a 3% annual match, along with free financial advising services from a third-party, as well as a life insurance policy. - PLS will offer a commission rate of 20% commission rate on the net profit from all products and services, with an OTE of $130,000 - $150,000 per year -KPIs will be tracked, these include the number of calls and emails made each week. Failure to meet the KPIs each quarter will result in a PIP and then termination if the PIP goals are not met. -Quarterly revenue goals and bonuses will be available. - PLS will offer milage re-imbursement for any miles driven performing work-related errands ($.625 cents per mile). - PLS will be closed on all major holidays. - PLS will offer 10 paid days off per year. - Account Manager duties will include prospecting and finding new customers, attending trade shows, attending virtual training sessions, working directly with clients to learn their goals and establish how PLS can meet them, formulate sales strategies, and communicate product value to customers. - We are interested in account managers with experience in VARs/IT hardware sales, any knowledge of OEMs like Zebra, ELO, HP Retail, Star Micronics, Honeywell, Office 365, Lenovo, Acronis is desired.
