About BuildPass BuildPass is a venture-backed SaaS organisation on a mission to innovate within the construction industry. We've developed a comprehensive construction site operations platform that brings together Builders, Subcontractors, and Workers. Our goal - to build the worlds smartest operating system for construction sites. The BuildPass team comes from diverse backgrounds and skillsets. We care more about your ambition to learn and desire to join a high-performing team than your familiarity with steel-cap boots, site scheduling and OSHA guidelines. * About the role The SDR function and sales team as a whole is erm. an eclectic bunch; we have ex zookeepers, carpenters, gym-owners, founders, analysts and horticulturalists on our team. The one thing they have all have in common? Success in the SDR role. To date, our sales team has grown to 12 individuals across Australia and North America. this is set to grow further. Our team consistently overachieving on growth QoQ. Averaging 103% of target in Q2 & 3 2024. Our average time to full- ramp target is 60 days. The Sales Development Representative is one of the most important roles. In the North America region, you will be part of the founding team. Becoming the first point of contact for either our Inbound or Outbound Customers. Understanding our product, positioning, use cases and how we can truely help construction companies run their site operations. Plainly speaking, you will be responsible for picking up the phone and generating new business opportunities that ultimately drive revenue for BuildPass. * Key responsibilities * Proactively reach out to prospects to generate new business opportunities for BuildPass * Identify and qualify leads through outbound efforts (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.) as well as inbound inquiries * Understand customer needs and requirements, educating them on how BuildPass can solve their pain points * Collaborate with the sales team to book meetings and build a robust sales pipeline * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM, managing multiple prospects at various stages of the sales funnel * Stay current on industry trends, BuildPass product developments, and competitors * About you * 1+ years of experience in a tech sales role (SaaS preferred) * Proven ability to generate leads and set appointments * Knowledge of or exposure to the construction industry is a big bonus * Strong communication and organizational skills * Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment * Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) to track outreach and manage pipelines * Why BuildPass? * Be part of a high-growth SaaS company with big ambitions * Competitive salary and commission structure * Opportunity for professional growth and career advancement * Fun, energetic, and supportive company culture * Work with an innovative product that's making a real impact in the construction industry _ Data shows that 26% of woman are unlikely to apply for a job if they don 't have all the skills listed, compared to 12% of men.
