Full description of the position

DEPARTMENT: Sales REPORTS TO: Sales Manager STATUS: Non-Exempt LOCATION: Houston, TX 77086 JOB SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) serves the needs of our valued business customers. Engaging through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions, this role leverages expertise to provide product information, generate quotes, follow up on leads, and contribute to the success of the sales department. Additionally, the ISR may assist with order entry, product sourcing, and other sales-related tasks, impacting customer satisfaction, sales growth, and overall business success. RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Engagement: * Manage incoming correspondence (phone calls, emails, and walk-ins). * Assist customers in identifying Reotemp products and services that align with their needs. * Collaborate with new and existing distributors to enhance sales efforts. * Configure Reotemp model numbers, quote prices, calculate shipping, and provide availability information. * Prepare and deliver written quotes via email, ensuring meticulous record-keeping. * Proactively follow up on quotes, addressing customer inquiries, objections, and closing sales. * Efficiently manage customer orders, ensuring satisfaction, resolving issues, and exceeding expectations. * Address customer questions, monitor order status, handle change orders, and resolve concerns. Database Management and Support: * Maintain up-to-date customer records within Reotemp's database. * Facilitate information sharing by completing call reports and updating relevant information. * Assist with customer shipments and logistics to ensure order fulfillment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Prior experience in Sales, Inside Sales, or Customer Service roles. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on effective interpersonal interactions. * Team player mindset with attributes like positivity, integrity, and a drive to achieve shared goals. PREFERRED SKILLS: * Associate or Bachelor's degree. * Experience in industrial applications, particularly in the oil and gas industry. * Previous involvement in manufacturing, specifying, or selling thermocouples and RTDs. * Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. * Strong organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks . * Proficiency in computer use, including business automation systems and Microsoft Office products.
