Full description of the position
A high-end residential developer here in West Michigan is looking to hire an experienced Sales Consultant with excellent customer service experience to join their team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a great team and develop strong relationships with buyers as you walk alongside the building and selection process of their dream home. The Sales Consultant will promote the homes to prospects and the greater community. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, service-minded and dedicated to a consultative and guided sale. Responsibilities: * Create and implement marketing events for communities and homes. * Engage with potential buyers to understand their needs, address inquiries, and build lasting relationships. * Identify and qualify sales leads and prospects through research, networking, and referrals. * Conduct client consultations, needs assessments, and discovery sessions to understand client requirements, preferences, and objectives. * Customize solutions and proposals based on client needs, budget and constraints. * Provide expert advice, recommendations, and guidance to clients during the sale process. * Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to close sales and secure commitments. * Follow up with clients, leads, and prospects in a timely manner, nurturing relationships, overcoming objections, and persuading clients to take action. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions. * Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to generate leads, network with potential clients, and stay informed on market opportunities and customer needs. Qualifications: * 2+ years of sales experience * Bachelor's degree in Sales or Marketing preferred * Knowledge of Residential Construction preferred * High level of personal and professional integrity * Excellent interpersonal skills * Great communication skills * Strong organizational skills * Internal and external customer service focused Job Type: Full-time Pay: $76,158.00 - $85,422.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday Work Location: In personPartners In Action, Inc.
