Successful applicants have the potential to earn up to $200,000 per year. Sales Consultant Purpose: The vehicle salesperson is responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership Minimum Acceptable Performance, Sales Volume per Month, 3 Month Rolling Average, Manufacturer Customer Satisfaction Score, Survey Returns, Owner Support Plus Score, Sold Email Score, gross profit, volume and customer satisfaction standards. Duties and Responsibilities: - Sells automobiles by demonstrating and test driving with customers and showcasing specifications and features while understanding qualifying buyers characteristics, capabilities, developing, and closing sales. - Has a variety of responsibilities, ranging from meeting, greeting and prospecting customers to identifying appropriate inventory, negotiating, handling contracts and delivering cars. - Be the vehicle expert - by Knowing the terminology of the automobile business and understanding the controlling operations of equipment, keep abreast of features or systems, where emergency tools are located and how it will benefit the customers. - Know and understand how to explain routine maintenance, determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed on the vehicle and Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize to them the quality and efficiency of service repairs and maintenance available in the dealership's service department. - Report to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses. - Work with the service department to ensure that vehicles are reconditioned as expected and on schedule. - Attend sales meetings and training offered by the dealership and the manufacturer. - Maintain an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business. - Know and understand equity, trade process and values and be able to explain depreciation to the customer. - Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager.
