As we expand our business, we are looking to hire a motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team. Position Overview: As a Business Development Representative at Onguard Security, your primary role will be to sell our security guard services to potential customers. You will work closely with our telemarketing team to identify leads and set appointments, as well as canvassing, prospecting, and cultivating new business opportunities. After initial contact by the telemarketing team, you will take over to set and attend appointments, meet with clients, and close deals. This position requires local travel across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, and San Diego. The role is based onsite at our corporate office in Canoga Park, CA. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with our telemarketing team to identify and nurture potential clients. * Take charge of setting appointments with leads generated by the telemarketing team. * Attend meetings and appointments across Southern California, including Los Angeles, Orange County, Riverside, and San Diego. * Present Onguard Security's services to clients, address their needs, and negotiate contracts. * Close deals and meet sales targets. * Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering repeat business. * Canvas for new prospects and continually seek opportunities to grow the client base. Schedule: * Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation: * Hourly Pay: $23.00 - $24.50 per hour, based on experience. * Commission: One-time commission on all closed contracts (based on gross bill). Qualifications: * Proven sales experience (experience in the security industry is a plus but not required). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to build relationships with clients and maintain those relationships over time. * A proactive and goal-oriented approach to business development. * Willingness to learn and adapt to business processes. * Ability to travel locally for client appointments in Southern California. * Must be able to work onsite at our Canoga Park corporate office.
