As a local media rep, you'll walk into businesses face-to-face and help Charlotte-area business owners build visibility and drive revenue through custom TV and radio ad campaigns. This is a W-2 position with benefits available after 90 days. While this role is 100% commission-based, you are a full employee --not a contractor--and eligible for health and other benefits after your probationary period. • Conduct door-to-door B2B sales by visiting local business owners in person.
• Recommend tailored TV and radio advertising budgets based on each business owner's marketing goals.
• Meet established sales targets across all advertising channels.
• Effectively work all assigned territories to maximize outreach and generate qualified leads.
• Compile daily reports of sales visits, presentations, objections, conversions, and follow-ups as required.
• Communicate with your Supervisor about competitive activity and feedback in your territory. This is a performance-driven position: the more you sell, the more you make. Types of Businesses You'll Serve You'll be working directly with small to midsize business owners across industries such as:
• Restaurants
• Local service businesses
• Car dealerships
• Retail stores
• Healthcare clinics
• And more Ramp-Up Bonus: Extra Cash in Your First 3 Months For each of your first 3 months, earn bonus cash based on how many new clients you sign that month:
• Sign 3 to 4 new clients -> Earn $1,000
• Sign 5 to 9 new clients -> Earn $2,000
• Sign 10+ new clients -> Earn $3,500 These bonuses reset each month during months 1, 2, and 3. You can earn up to $10,500 in ramp-up bonuses by hitting the milestones each month. Expense Account & Reimbursements Once you sign 3 new clients, you unlock:
• An expense account
• Travel reimbursement (mileage and travel costs reimbursed in accordance with IRS guidelines) How You Get Paid Your income grows as you build and retain a client portfolio. Here's the breakdown:
• $300 per new client sign-up
• $50 per month per active client (monthly residual)
• Recurring Ad Spend Bonuses:
• 3% bonus on total ad spend once your clients' cumulative spend exceeds $10,000/month
• 4% bonus on ad spend exceeding $75,000/month OTE (On-Target Earnings): First-year performers can expect to earn $72,000 to $144,000+ annually by consistently signing 5-10 new clients monthly, growing residuals, and increasing ad spend volume. Top Performers' Earnings Potential By month 12, high-performing reps earn well over $15,000 per month, combining:
• Signup commissions
• Residuals
