We are looking for a catering sales associate to bring in new business. The environment is focused on growth. The pace is fast. The opportunities are tangible. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: (DUAL-RESPONSIBILITY POSITION) Sales Associate Responsibility : (4 Days/Week) Our ideal candidate will naturally be organized and driven. You will love speaking to clients as much as you love putting together creative menus and proposals. In fact, you see the two as different sides of the same coin. You will bring: * Exceptional customer service skills * Great under pressure * Energy and enthusiasm * Comfortable making cold calls * Incredible focus to detail, dotting every I and crossing every T * Food + Beverage knowledge a plus * Ability to close clients Assistant Event Manager Responsibility:(1-2 Days/Weekend) Our ideal candidate will assist the Event Manager on running the event smoothly by managing all Event Staff at Event Venue for the entirety event. * Oversees the setup, service, and breakdown of an event * This position requires long periods of time standing, reaching and bending. * Weekend + Night availability * Strong leadership skills - overseeing the event and all staff members * Strong communication and customer service skills * Work well under stress - great time management skills * Strong problem solving skills - problems will arise and need to be quick on their feet * High in integrity, which means a strong commitment to their word * Insightful, always looking for ways to be more efficient * Must be able to type 45WPM (Typing Test will be given during interview) Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $55,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Employee discount * Health insurance * Paid time off * Vision insurance Schedule: * 8 hour shift * Monday to Friday * Weekends as needed Experience: * Catering: 1 year (Required) Ability to Commute: * Houston, TX (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple locations
