Job Summary We are seeking a self managing, reliable, responsible, self-motivated, and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for opening and closing the store on working shift, providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with their purchases, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment. Work days/Shift are Monday & Tuesdays with 1 week paid training provided. Must be able to lift at least 50 Lbs Duties * Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. * Process transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system. * Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively assist customers. * Handle cash transactions and ensure accurate cash handling practices. * Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and organizing merchandise. * Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. * Utilize retail math skills to assist in pricing, discounts, and sales calculations. * Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards. Skills * Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. * Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems. * Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations. * Experience in retail sales, preferably in a grocery store environment. * Cash/Credit handling experience with attention to detail. * Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse customers. * Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. * Ability to work Monday & Tuesdays (2 days 8 hour shifts).
