Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. Your ability to communicate effectively and resolve issues will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail or grocery environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles. Responsibilities * Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services. * Process transactions accurately using cash registers and POS systems. * Maintain knowledge of stock levels and assist in inventory management. * Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions. * Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner. * Supervise junior staff when necessary, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. * Perform basic math calculations for transactions and stock management. * Assist in training new employees on customer service protocols and sales techniques. Experience * Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a grocery store or retail environment. * Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. * Familiarity with cash registers, POS systems, and basic retail math is preferred. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. * Supervisory experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential.
